Import from Microsoft 365
Bulk-import co-owners from your Outlook contacts or an Entra ID group.
Overview#
Syndic+ connects to Microsoft 365 via OAuth 2.0 to import your Outlook contacts or members of an Entra ID group. Each contact becomes a co-owner record with their email and details.
Prerequisites#
Connect your Microsoft account from Dashboard → Integrations → Microsoft 365. Required scopes are Contacts.Read and User.Read.All for groups.
Import steps#
Open the import dialog
From Registry → Co-owners, click Import → From Microsoft 365.
Choose the source
Select Personal contacts (Outlook) or Entra ID group (security or Microsoft 365 group). Groups are handy for syndicates that already maintain a mailing list.
Filter and preview
A table lists all retrieved contacts. Tick the ones to import. Duplicates (same email as an existing co-owner) are flagged and skipped by default.
Link to units
For each contact, pick a unit and share. Linking is optional at import time — you can finish it later.
Run the import
Click Import — the operation is logged. Each imported co-owner receives an email invitation if that option is enabled.
OAuth scopes#
Syndic+ requests only the minimum scopes (Bill 25's least-privilege principle). You can revoke access any time from Integrations → Connected Services.
| Scope | Use |
|---|---|
Contacts.Read | Read personal Outlook contacts |
User.Read.All | List members of an Entra ID group |
offline_access | Auto-refresh the token |
Limits#
- Max import: 500 contacts per operation
- The Free plan does not allow Microsoft import — upgrade to Starter or higher (see plans)
Imported contacts appear in the registry immediately. Review details before sending portal invitations.
