Onboarding Guide
Follow each step of the onboarding wizard to properly set up your syndicate.
The Onboarding Wizard#
On your first login, Syndic+ presents a 6-step wizard to configure your syndicate. Each step is essential to get the most out of the platform.
Step 1 — Your Account#
Verify and complete your personal information:
- Full name — As it will appear in official communications
- Email address — Used for notifications and account recovery
- Phone number — Optional, but recommended for emergencies
Step 2 — Syndicate Information#
Configure the basic information for your condo:
- Syndicate name — e.g., "Syndicate of co-ownership 123 Main Street"
- Building address — The physical address of the building
- NEQ number — The Quebec enterprise number (Registraire des entreprises)
The NEQ number is mandatory for condo syndicates in Quebec. You can find it on the Quebec Enterprise Register (REQ).
Step 3 — Plan Selection#
Select your pricing plan based on the number of units in your building. See the Pricing Plans page for a detailed comparison.
Step 4 — Preferences#
Configure your syndicate preferences:
- Default language — French or English for communications
- Theme — Light, dark, or automatic
- Notifications — Choose which email notifications you want to receive
Step 5 — Subdomain#
Choose a custom subdomain for your syndicate. This subdomain will be used for the co-owner portal.
Example:
my-syndicate.syndic.plus
Step 6 — Checklist#
The last step shows a checklist of recommended actions:
- Add the building's units
- Register co-owners
- Set up insurance policies
- Complete compliance information
- Plan the next meeting
You don't have to complete everything right away. The checklist remains accessible from the dashboard so you can come back to it later.
After Onboarding#
Once the wizard is complete, you'll access the main dashboard. The dashboard displays:
- A summary of alerts and required actions
- The overall compliance score
- Upcoming deadlines (insurance, meetings, maintenance)
- Fund status (operations, contingency, self-insurance)
